On Thursday 8 October, Maintenance in Dredging brings the industry together again for an evening of practical insights, good conversation and a high-quality dinner.

This edition, Predictive Power: Smart Maintenance in Dredging & Offshore, focuses on a question that is becoming increasingly relevant across our industry: how can data, condition monitoring and AI help us make better maintenance decisions and improve asset reliability and availability?

Three industry experts will share their experience and practical perspectives:

Erik Klok, co-founder of Predict Marine, will share real-world examples of predictive and smart maintenance and discuss what these developments mean for processes, people and organisations.

Bram Vervisch, co-founder and Managing Director of ORBITS, will show  how Machine Health Scans and periodic measurements can help detect anomalies earlier, improve maintenance planning and reduce unplanned downtime.

Marc de Beurs, co-founder and CTO of Yabba Data Doo, will explore how software, data and AI can support predictive maintenance – and what takes to turn these technologies into reliable tools for day-to-day operations.

Between presentations, there will be plenty of time to exchange experiences, meet fellow professionals and continue the conversation over dinner with people from the dredging, offshore and wider maritime sectors.

The event takes place on Thursday 8 October 2026, from 17:00 to 22:00 at Van der Valk Hotel Breda. Participation is €75, including dinner.
