CEDA Dredging Days 2015: Advance announcement

CEDA's flagship conference and exhibition once again will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in conjunction with the Europort 2015 maritime trade show.
Scheduled for 5-6 November 2015 the conference will focus on modern day dredging and marine construction in and around ports. Topics will include:
- Port expansion challenges and solutions;
- Dealing with the mismatch between sediment supply (in dredged areas) and demand (e.g. for beach nourishment);
- Adaptive management strategies;
- Maintenance dredging: novel techniques and solutions for minimising the need.
The Call for Papers will be issued in September this year.
CEDA Dredging Days is always well attended by scientists and practitioners from academia, government and industry. The presented papers are peer-reviewed and published in the conference proceedings can be accessed through the CEDA Digital Library.
