Thank you for sharing the good moments this year!
It has been another strange year but there have been many moments where we have been able to shine a positive light on our members and the dredging industry.
CEDA held its first virtual Dredging Days, in September, which meant we could open up the event to a wider audience. We were delighted to be able to meet some of our members face-to-face at Europort 2021, in November, during the CEDA Innovation Pitch sessions.
CEDA bought Dredgepoint.org. in a move that will bring together a comprehensive and open-source database for dredging equipment under the CEDA umbrella.
We said hello to our new General Manager in waiting, Mieke van Loenen, who will take over from Anna Csiti on 1st of January. We are pleased to say that Anna will continue to work with CEDA, in a part-time management advisory capacity, until June 2022.
We also said a fond farewell to our Secretary of 20 years, Yvonne Duiveman, who will be greatly missed but we wish her well in her retirement.
Finally, thanks to those of you who have told us you enjoy receiving CEDA Industry News each month. We think it is going from strength-to-strength. We write it for you so please do continue to let us know what you think and what you would like to see more of in its content.
For now, we would like to wish you all a safe, healthy and peaceful Christmas break and we look forward to welcoming you in 2022 together.
