Register now for the 2-day course Dredging for Sustainable Infrastructure!

2022-10-12

Following on from the success of the previous Dredging for Sustainable Infrastructure courses, IADC and CEDA will organise another course on 13-14 December 2022 at the HR Wallingford Head Office in Oxfordshire (UK).

During the two days, participants will learn how to achieve dredging projects that fulfil primary functional requirements while adding value to the natural and socio-economic system. Experienced lecturers will describe the latest thinking and approaches, explain methodologies and techniques as well as demonstrate – through numerous practical examples – how to implement this information in practice by engaging workshops and case studies.

The course is given by experts from the dredging industry. We have a group of professionals who, based on their availability, will make up the team of lecturers for the course:
• Erik van Eekelen (Van Oord),
• Pieter de Boer (Rijkswaterstaat/CEDA)
• Marc Huygens (DEME Group),
• Mark Lee (HR Wallingford)
• Frederik Roose (Flemish Government)
• Sina Saremi (DHI)
• Thomas Vijverberg (Boskalis)

One of the lecturers, Thomas Vijverberg, explains in the video below his experiences with the book and the new insights that the book and course has provided.
