Central Dredging Association

Understanding dredging

CEDA Annual Report 2017 published

2017 was a wonderfully busy and fulfilling year. Our latest Annual Report details our work over the year and highlights work related to the new initiatives going forward.

Of course, there was the organising of our flagship event, CEDA Dredging Days, in Rotterdam. It was another successful event which will stand the test of time for those who were there.

Other highlights include the publication of our Deep-Sea Mining Information Portal and CEDA's Checklist for Sustainable Dredging Management. We have made good progress with our joint book with IADC, “Dredging for Sustainable Infrastructure".

Annual Report 2017 p35You can find out more about these and other activities and see many great pictures in the pages of this Annual Report.

CEDA exists, in part, to provide a forum for knowledge and information exchange, and to raise the profile of the dredging profession throughout our region. For updates, on forthcoming activities such as for instance the CEDA-IADC Conference based on the forthcoming book, visit the CEDA website, and read the printed CEDA News and our regular e-newsletters.

Finally, we’d like to thank our corporate and individual members, who support our activities by joining working groups and commissions, attending our events, and helping CEDA achieve so much every year.

Thank you all and we look forward to the opportunities that 2018 will bring to our community.
