YOUNG CEDA/PIANC event: visit to IJmuiden locks
A new large sea lock is being constructed at the entrance of the North Sea Canal at IJmuiden that will provide access to the Amsterdam port region. The new lock will be 500 meters long, 70 meters wide and 18 meters deep, making it the world’s largest sea lock.
Young PIANC and Young CEDA invites you for a guided tour over this project to meet the people involved in this project, to sail with a tour boat through the project site and be informed about the details of the project. This is also a great opportunity to build your network.
This is an open event to anyone interested in learning more about the dredging and marine construction industry. As Young PIANC and Young CEDA we particularly encourage students and young professionals in the field dredging and maritime engineering to join! At this event is place for 100 attendees.
Registration closes 21 March.
