WODA is responsible for organizing the World Dredging Congress & Expositions (WODCONs), which are held every three years, and delegates this responsibility to the association in whose region the forthcoming congress will take place.

The next meeting, WODCON XXIV, will be held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel from June 23-27, 2025, and will be hosted by the Western Dredging Association (WEDA).
