EIC launches webinar series on Collaborative Delivery Models

2026-09-06

European International Contractors (EIC) is launching a new webinar series on Collaborative Delivery Models (CDMs), bringing together contractors, public clients, consultants and legal experts to discuss how collaborative approaches can improve the delivery of large and complex infrastructure projects.

The webinar series builds on the EIC Position Paper on Collaborative Delivery Models, published in April 2026. The paper calls for a shift from fragmented and adversarial project delivery towards approaches based on early involvement, appropriate risk allocation, transparent governance and shared objectives between clients, contractors, designers and other key project partners. These principles are reflected in EIC's definition of CDMs as integrated approaches that bring the main project participants together around shared objectives, transparent decision-making and collective accountability.

The webinar series will take these concepts from the Position Paper into a practical discussion with experienced representatives from different parts of the infrastructure sector. The initial programme will address the characteristics of collaborative delivery, when CDMs are suitable for a project, how they can be procured and executed in practice, and the specific experience gained with Project Alliancing.
