Abstract
"This paper draws on earlier work by Werkhoven et al. (2018) for the pseudo-analytic computation of spillage due to rotational velocity-induced flow. The preliminary model is further developed in order to incorporate rapid redeposition, density differences, axial flow through the cutter nose, and heterogeneous concentrations near the suction mouth."
